Loch Bee, South Uist - Prince Charles Edward Stuart took refuge near here after his defeat at the "Battle of Culloden" in 1746.
15th. century Doune Castle, built by the Regent Albany, who was executed for misrule by James 1
on his return from exile in England.
Kinnoul Hill overlooks the once predominantly Jacobite city of Perth, the Carse of Gowrie and the winding River Tay.
